Gateway Church exists to glorify God by preaching the gospel and worshiping Jesus; so that people will embrace Him, be equipped to raise Godly families, and will empower the next generation of Christians.

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Jordan Sharrett of Gateway Church at Friendship

Pastor Jordan Sharrett

Pastor Jordan Sharrett is the Lead Pastor at Gateway Church. He graduated from Lee University having studied communications and bible, began the youth and young adult service called ‘The Exchange’ in August of 2008.  He stepped into leadership here at Gateway in September of 2015. He and his wife, Nikki, have 2 sons - Jackson and Grayson. He is passionate about seeing people meet Jesus and the church being the CHURCH!

    Fred Sharrett

    CARE PASTOR

    After graduating from Southeastern Bible College, Fred Sharrett and his family traveled for twenty years throughout the United States and other nations sharing the Gospel. In 1989, God spoke to Pastor Sharrett to begin a new church in Suwanee. This was the beginning of Faith Chapel, later to be called Gateway Church at Suwanee. Now Pastor Fred serves as Care Pastor here at Gateway.

    Taylor May

    CHILDRENS DIRECTOR

    Taylor and her husband Michael live in Braselton with their two daughters Anniston and Olivia. Taylor has a degree in Early Childhood Education from LaGrange College. Taylor taught 2nd grade for 8 years before stepping away from teaching to raise her own children. Taylor is passionate about her love for the Lord and for kids to discover God’s great love for them. One of her greatest joys is to guide children to develop a lasting, personal relationship with Jesus. Taylor is here to support the families of Gateway as we partner together to raise Christ-centered families.

    WORSHIP LEADERS

    Joe and Christian Leaphart are the worship leaders at Gateway Church. togheter they have been leading worship since 2010 at various churches and conferences locally and nationwide. They are honored to call Gateway home and are passionate about leading their church into the Presence of God. They have two children, Rhodes and Brighton.
